Young Slocum House Players - Instruction Session 1 & 3: Children will learn all aspects of developing a theatre production. Classes will consist of theatre games, audition techniques, acting, improvisation, as well as production methods. Once introduced to all off stage jobs: directing, stage managing, lights, sets, props, and costumes, each child will choose an area to focus their talents. Children will be asked to bring a sack lunch each day for a 30 minute lunch break in Esther Short park supervised by the theatre camp teachers. Rehearsals will take place after lunch.
